COEX Convention Center
COEX is Korea’s largest Convention and Exhibition Center located in Gang-nam-gu, the center of international trade in Seoul, Korea. Since opened in March 1979, COEX has provided a global exchange platform through exhibitions and international conferences and has become the MICE business hub of Asia.
COEX is comprised of four ground floors and four basements which include 36,000m
2 of exhibition space partitioned into 12 separate rooms, a convention hall with space for up to 7,000 people and 54 meeting rooms fully equipped with a simultaneous interpretation as well as high-tech A/V system. COEX also successfully holds various conferences such as the G20 Summit in 2010, Nuclear Security Summit in 2012, UFI Congress in 2013 and International Congress of Mathematicians in 2014.

COEX is known for the latest multi-complex equipped with diverse facilities such as luxury hotels, a shopping mall, an aquarium, a movie theater and a casino. COEX has jumped up to be a leading culture-business platform through the opening of the new COEX Mall in 2014 and SM Town in 2015, and the designation of Gangnam as a "Special Tourist Zone" dedicated to the MICE industry.
