Scholarship for Participants from Developing Countries

The ILERA World Congress 2018 Organizing Committee is strongly committed to supporting participants from developing countries; therefore, participants from developing countries are welcome to apply for the Scholarship for Participants from Developing Countries as it will cover registration fees and some costs of flight and accommodation.


Qualification for Application

1. Residents in low-income and lower-middle-income economies, as defined by the World Bank for the year 2017.

2. Previous Activities in the field of employment and labor relations as researcher or practitioner, as documented by the personal CV

※ Please note: if your full paper is not acceptable for presentation, your scholarship may be cancelled.



Financial Assistance

  • Registration Fee
  • The amount of flight & accommodation reimbursement will be given by bank transfer after the congress. For more efficient preparation, please send us the following documents by March 31, 2018.
    1. 1) A copy of your passport (Those who have not uploaded their passport yet)
    2. 2) Invoice for flight reservation or E-ticket including its price
    3. 3) Invoice for accommodation reservation or confirmation letter including its price
    4. 4) Boarding pass (by presenting on-site)

The total amount of flight and accommodation reimbursement shall not exceed USD 1,000.

As for flight reimbursement, an economy-class ticket for the purpose of attending the Congress will only be reimbursed.

As for accommodation reimbursement, up to 6 nights at a 3 star hotel or lower level accommodation will only be reimbursed;
